Shola Coach House b&b in Portrush recently announced that they won the best Serviced Accommodation of the Year 2014 award in a ceremony organised by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. The Northern Ireland Tourism Awards, now in their 36th year, recognise the very best of the local tourism industry and include entries from top notch farmhouse, guesthouse and b&b providers across Northern Ireland. Organised by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board in partnership with Diageo Northern Ireland, this year the awards spanned nine different categories and three special awards.
“Winning the best Serviced Accommodation award is a major highlight for us having only opened the business in March last year” said Sharon Schindler, co-owner at Shola Coach House b&b.
“Our category included representation from bed and breakfast, guesthouse and farmhouse establishments from all over Northern Ireland and we are proud to be recognised as the outstanding performers among very strong competition.
It’s great that the Northern Ireland Tourist Board have given us this recognition, which shows our visitors how passionate we are in our mission to provide a top quality bed and breakfast experience in one of the most beautiful parts of the Causeway Coast.”
