Cross border business development agency Intertrade Ireland offers a great sales development programme called Acumen, which is open to organisations on both sides of the border. Participants on the Acumen Programme can avail of one of three types of support, through financial assistance for the employment of either a full time or part time sales executive, or for market research consultancy support. To be eligible, your business must be indigenously owned — in other words, it must not be foreign owned or a multinational — and it must have a satisfactory trading history.
